Fed Chairman Jerome Powell returned to Capitol Hill on Wednesday to participate in the second day of his semi-annual update of his monetary policy.

Central Bank leaders appeared before the House Financial Services Committee to make prepared remarks and then participated in a Q&A session with lawmakers.

In a testimony from the Senate Banking Committee on Tuesday, Powell commented that policymakers will take a patient approach to completing this year’s interest rate decision. In addition, he raised several issues and bank regulations and dismissed the possibility of a central bank digital currency sponsored by the Federal Reserve.
