Consumer Products Giant Unilever On Thursday, sales growth was slightly weaker and pointed to a start in 2025, although it expects this to reverse in the second half.
The company also offers the latest news on spin-offs from its ice cream business, which owns brands including Ben and Jerry’s and Magnum, saying it will attract through a triple list.
Manufacturers of Dove Soap and Hellmann’s Mayonnaise grew 4% in potential sales in the fourth quarter, with a slightly forecast of 4.1% in company compiled estimates.
The year-round base sales increased by 4.2% compared to the company’s compilation analyst consensus of 4.3%. This is guided by a volume growth of 2.9%. The base operating margin is 18.4%, and is estimated to be 18.3%. Both figures fit the company’s full-year forecast.

“Today’s results reflect important events for the year as we focus on turning Unilever into a business that continues to be higher,” CEO Hein Schumacher said in a statement.
“In 2024, market growth slowed and is expected to remain soft in the first half of 2025,” he added.
The UK company shared its 2025 outlook, with forecast full-year sales growth in line with its multi-year range of 3% to 5%. It also said it expects “moderate improvements” in the basic operating margins, which will be achieved in the second half of the year.
