Typhoon Yagi, Asia’s strongest storm this year, is moving westward, killing dozens of people and causing widespread damage to infrastructure and factories in northern Vietnam, preliminary government estimates showed on Monday.
The Vietnamese government said the typhoon caused landslides and floods, killing 49 people and leaving 22 missing.
