Trump lawyer Alina Habba asks to fire veterans’ fitness | Real Time Headlines

Republican Sen. Roger Marshall left early after some attendees recruited federal layoffs and other issues at an event in his hometown of Kansas on Saturday.

Chuck Nunn, an attendee who identified himself as a conservative Democrat, told Marshall that he supported the Trump administration’s efforts to reduce fraud and waste in government spending.

“But I think the way we do this is so wrong because there are unexpected consequences,” Nunn said. High Plains Public Radio.

“I support veterans. But, what you are doing now, what the government is doing now, that’s the job, a lot of people, I know you care about veterans being veterans.”

“That’s shameful,” Nunn said. “That’s shameful.”

Marshall left the town hall after Nunn made a statement.
