Asia-Pacific markets were mixed on Tuesday as investors awaited greater clarity on U.S. President Donald Trump’s policies. inauguration ceremony.

In Japan, benchmark Nikkei 225 Index It fell 0.09%, with the Topix falling 0.16%.

U.S. stock futures were higher after Trump was sworn in and promised a new “golden age” for the United States.
Futures tied to the S&P 500 rose 0.5%, while Nasdaq 100 futures gained 0.6%. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 221 points, or 0.5%.
