President-elect Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he will nominate former Sen. Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., to lead the Small Business Administration for a second term.
“I am pleased to nominate former U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler, a business leader from the great state of Georgia, to serve as Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA),” Trump said. Written in the Truth Society.

After the 2020 election, Loeffler repeatedly refused to admit she lost the presidential election as Trump continued to promote widespread voter fraud. Loeffler was one of the panel’s recommendations, but she was not ultimately charged.
Trump has also named other picks for his future Cabinet who also cast doubt on his defeat in the 2020 election, including New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, his pick for ambassador to the United Nations; senator. Marco Rubio, Republican of Florida., elected secretary of state;and Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi elected Attorney General.
Loeffler is the founder of RallyRight, a company described as “a suite of technology products designed to give conservatives the tools they need to win at every level.” She is also a board member of the app PublicSquare, which is described as “The largest marketplace and payments ecosystem to protect life, family, and freedom.” She previously owned 49% of the WNBA Atlanta Dream.
