United States President-elect Donald Trump said on Friday that he has chosen Oregon Congresswoman Lori Chavez-Dremer to be labor secretary.
Trump said Chavez-Dremer worked “tirelessly” with business and labor to build the American workforce and support Americans.
“I look forward to working with her to create tremendous opportunities for American workers, expand training and apprenticeships, raise wages, improve working conditions, and restore our manufacturing jobs,” Trump said in a statement.
