Trump ally Allen Weisselberg released from prison | Real Time Headlines

Trump ally Allen Weisselberg was released early from Rikers Island on Friday after he was found guilty of lying under oath in a civil fraud trial involving the Trump Organization.

Weisselberg, the former Trump Organization chief financial officer, was sentenced to five months in prison in April after pleading guilty to two counts of perjury.

His attorney, Seth Rosenberg, confirmed Weisselberg’s release.

Weisselberg has Previous service time Indicted on Rikers Island in 2023 on charges related to tax fraud scheme. He was sentenced to five months in prison but was paroled after 100 days for good behavior.
