DOJ and FTC retain Biden-era Merger and Acquisition Guidelines until further notice

Ferguson also wrote: “The FTC has limited resources.”

“Rewriting guidelines after each election will be expensive and time-consuming. It will also be unstable. Law enforcement agencies should avoid changing guidelines on the wholesale of guidelines for every new government,” he wrote.

“Otherwise, these guidelines will have nothing to the business and the courts.
