Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ inspires free art exhibition at London’s V&A Museum | Real Time Headlines

Kate Bailey, senior curator of theater and performance at the Victoria and Albert Museum, said the exhibition, which includes costumes and other items from Swift’s personal archives, aims to showcase the singer’s “famous looks”. It is on display in the museum’s permanent gallery.

“Each intimate encounter celebrates a chapter in the artist’s musical journey. Taylor Swift’s songs tell stories like objects, often drawn from art, history and literature,” Bailey said in an emailed statement explain. She added: “We hope this specially designed theatrical route across the museum will spark the imagination of curious visitors, allowing them to learn more about the performer, her creativity and the V&A’s collections.”

The exhibition also includes a cardigan worn by Swift in her 2020 music video of the same name, as well as a sweater worn by American-Japanese designer Shoji Masaru that she wore in her 2021 music video for the song “I Bet You Think About Me.” Red dress designed by Tadashi Shoji.

The Victoria and Albert Museum isn’t the only venue showcasing Swift during “The Eras Tour.” Two large murals can be seen near London’s Wembley Stadium, where the singer will perform next month. Artist Frank Styles created a colorful work called “Auras”, which is displayed on the steps leading to the stadium.
