RBC Capital Markets said it’s time to buy Insulet’s stock. Analyst Shagun Singh, who is better than MedTech, said its differentiated patched automatic insulin delivery product is the only product on the market, providing the company with the first push. “Insulet is at the forefront of innovation in the automatic insulin delivery (AID) pump market,” Singh wrote on Wednesday. “Its proprietary Omnipod system (Omnipod 5, Omnipod Dash, Omnipod GO) changes the experience of insulin-dependent diabetes management by transferring people from multiple daily injections (MDIS) as well as insulin pens and insulin insulin pumps.” PODD 1D Mountain Insulet Insulet stock has surpassed the wider market, up 65% in the past 12 months, more than 3% of the time to 2025. However, analysts are expected to rise further from here. Singh’s $340 target means more than 25% above the closing price above $270.81 on Wednesday. Insulet shares fell slightly in the former market on Thursday. Northulet’s performance is high, partly reflecting Insulet’s 14 million patients in total addressable market, but the market is not fully utilized, read the notes. Analysts expect earnings per share to grow by more than 26% over the next three years. More importantly, the company also has another major catalyst as it begins to take advantage of the type 2 diabetes market, a global market for 9 million patients around the world, and Insulet recently received a green light from the Food and Drug Administration. “Examinations show that PODD’s Omnipod 5 Aid System is a unique position that can drive continuous adoption,” Singh wrote. “The Omnipod 5 is a first aid system in the United States that clears patients against Type 1 (January 22) and Type 2 (August 24) and is the only internal tubeless/patch pump available through the pharmacy access that can improve large amounts of absorption and profit margins than peers.” Analysts are generally bullish on the stock. LSEG data shows that 20 out of 24 covered Insulet rate IT purchases or strong buys. The average price target signal is over 16%.
