The Pentagon said Wednesday that the company directed the military to sign a list of potential cuts totaling about $50 billion from the upcoming fiscal year 2026 budget and redirected it to President Donald Trump’s defense priorities.
“The ministry will develop a list of potential offsets that can be used to fund these priorities and will refocus the department on its core mission to stop and win the war,” a statement from Robert Salesses said.
“The target of the offset is 8% of the Biden administration’s fiscal 26 budget, totaling about $50 billion, and then it is used to plans that align with President Trump’s priorities.”
