Former President Barack Obama told the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday night that “America is ready for a new chapter” and “we are ready for President Kamala Harris.”
“Kamala Harris is ready for the job,” said Obama, who won the White House ahead of his Republican vice-presidential rival, former President Donald Trump.
