New York Mayor Eric Adams seeks to dismiss criminal case | Real Time Headlines

“The letter contains many false and inflammatory statements that make Mayor Adams irreparable,” the document said.

“The most appropriate right of recourse is to dismiss the case now and do so under prejudice,” the defense attorney wrote.

“It is based on the latest leak of this alone and is independent of the fact that the government itself hopes to have nothing to do with these priceless allegations, and it is true.”

CNBC has asked the Justice Department to comment on the new document.
