Hurricane Helene ravages southeastern US: Photos | Real Time Headlines

Hurricane Helen is ravaging communities across the southeastern U.S. massive flood High winds hit Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The Category 4 storm has killed at least 52 people as of Saturday, according to the weather service. Associated Press. Millions of people lost power and some were displaced as trees were uprooted and floods destroyed people’s properties.

Evacuations began before the storm made landfall and continued in the days since.

President Joe Biden Said he and Vice President Kamala Harris We are committed to deploying all necessary resources to aid recovery.

“As we turn to recovery efforts, we will ensure that no stone is left unturned to ensure that families, businesses, schools, hospitals and entire communities can quickly begin the road to rebuilding,” he said on Saturday.
