de facto democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris Said Thursday she’s “ready to debate” her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump.
“I think voters deserve to see the split screen that exists in this race on the debate stage, so I’m ready for it,” Harris told reporters on an airport tarmac outside Washington. “Let’s go.”
Vice President Harris said she has agreed to confront Trump on September 10. Joe Bidenwho withdrew from Sunday’s game.
“Now it looks like he’s going backwards,” Harris said of Trump Thursday afternoon. “But I’m ready.”
Trump said at a press conference earlier this week that he Don’t “like the idea” Taking part in a debate hosted by the ABC, he called it “fake news”.
But he said he would “absolutely” be willing to debate Harris if she became the Democratic nominee.
“I’m actually willing to have more than one debate,” Trump said during a conference call Tuesday afternoon.
