Harris campaign floods district in final sprint | Real Time Headlines

Vice President Kamala Harris Expect full media coverage this week, with various interviews aired on traditional network and alternative platforms targeting a broad electorate.

The week begins with Harris’ interview with Alex Cooper on the hit show Alex Coopercall her daddy“The podcast is expected to air on Sunday.

Then Monday night, CBS’ “60 Minutes” will air a sitdown with Harris, her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, and reporter Bill Whitaker. Trump campaign reportedly declined interview with “60 Minutes” after initially accepting invitation network.

On Tuesday, the Harris campaign will fly the vice president to New York for appearances on ABC’s “The View,” CBS’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “Howard Star” Eun Soo”.

On Thursday, Harris will participate in a town hall event with Univision, a major Spanish-language television broadcaster. Trump also taped a separate Univision town hall.

vice president faces criticizeCriticism has especially come from her Republican opponents for focusing her public appearances on scripted rallies and speeches, rather than media interviews and more ad hoc settings.

But there are still 30 days until the November 5 election, early voting has begun, and the Harris and Trump campaigns are currently engaged in a fierce battle for television broadcast rights.

In July, when Harris entered the presidential race after President Joe Biden ended his reelection bid, the early stages of her nascent campaign dominated the news cycle.

Since then, Trump has worked hard to regain media attention.

In addition to appearances on Fox News, which is more friendly to Republican candidates, Trump has also been interviewed on podcasts popular with young people, such as “This Past Weekend with Theo Von” and “The Lex Friedman Podcast.” He also interviewed Dr. Phil and Sean Ryana former Navy SEAL. Additionally, Trump held a much-hyped conversation with a close ally Musk August on X social media platform.

Amid Harris’ fast-moving campaign, the vice president spoke to CNN, a panel from the National Association of Black Journalists, MSNBC and some local branches.
