Detroit- General Motors According to CNBC, the company will lay off more than 1,000 salaried employees in its software and services divisions globally following a review to streamline operations in the division.

The layoffs, which include about 600 jobs at GM’s technology campus near Detroit, come less than six months after a leadership change in operating operations that included former top executives. Cetinok is a senior software executive serving as senior vice president of software and services product management, project management and design. He oversees the teams responsible for designing GM’s software roadmap and its software program development, release and improvement processes.

Richardson is senior vice president of software and services engineering at General Motors, responsible for leading software engineering, including embedded platforms, digital products, commercial solutions and advanced driver assistance systems such as GM Super Cruise.
