Coca Cola It is expected to release second-quarter earnings before the market closes on Tuesday.
Here are the expectations of Wall Street analysts polled by London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG):
- Earnings per share: 81 cents expected
- Revenue: Estimated $11.76 billion
Earlier this month, competitors Pepsi narrow its income Full-year outlook cited weakness among U.S. consumers amid lower demand for snacks. But Wall Street has more confidence in Coca-Cola, which has outperformed its peers in the consumer goods industry.
While the beverage giant has been grappling with the same economic conditions that have impacted its competition, analysts believe its strong international presence and pricing capabilities will help it weather the storm.
Throughout the year, Coca-Cola Projected organic revenue growth 8% to 9%, comparable profit growth of 4% to 5%.
Coca-Cola shares are up about 10% this year, while the S&P 500 is up 16%. Coca-Cola’s market capitalization is approximately $279 billion.
