BEIJING – Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, one of China’s largest ports by volume, reported an explosion on Friday afternoon on a container ship, state news agency Xinhua reported.
No casualties have been announced so far.
According to the report, the bow of YM Mobility, a container oil tanker flying the Liberian flag owned by Taiwan Yang Ming Marine Corporation, exploded, causing flames and thick smoke.
