Dion’s management and Sony Music Entertainment Canada became aware of the song’s use in the event on Saturday, the statement said.

Trump used the song as an interlude at a rally in Bozeman, Montana, on Friday, where he repeatedly followed his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, who has been trailing in the polls ahead of him.
Harris has been using Beyoncé’s song “Freedom” during campaign rallies, and the pop star reportedly gave the vice president permission to use the song.
