Bill McDermott wants ServiceNow to become a business AI platform | Real Time Headlines

Asia Management’s Christine Tan met with ServiceNow Chairman and CEO Bill McDermott in Singapore, where he shared his partnership with Nvidia’s Jensen Huang and how he plans to transform ServiceNow into a commercial “artificial intelligence” platform”.

since joining Immediate service In late 2019, Bill McDermott focused on artificial intelligence, driving his vision to position the company as An artificial intelligence platform for business transformation.

This isn’t just an attempt to capitalize on a trend; ServiceNow has been working toward this goal for some time.

“We are building large language models with Jensen Huang NVIDIA More than five years ago,” Bill McDermott told CNBC’s Christine Tan on the latest episode Managing Asia.

As artificial intelligence becomes a hot topic, many companies are vying for attention in the field. However, McDermott believes ServiceNow “isn’t actually competing with them.”

“If you think about today’s market, it’s largely built on companies that are 50-plus years old. Those systems of record are great. But they’re built in separate systems: finance, HR, sales. We have a platform that can translate and span all of that because we are one with them,” he explains.
