U.S. President Joe Biden will announce plans to reform the Supreme Court on Monday, Politico reported, citing two people familiar with the matter, adding that he may support term limits for judges and enforceable ethics rules.
Biden said in an Oval Office speech earlier this week that he would call for court reform.
Politico reports that he is also expected to seek a constitutional amendment that would limit the immunity of the president and some other public officials after the Supreme Court ruled in July that the president enjoys broad immunity from prosecution.
The report added that Biden will make the announcement in Texas on Monday and the specific proposals may change.
