On Sunday, after the White House said that South America agreed to accept military planes that were expelled from immigrants, the United States and Colombia retreated from the edge of the trade war.

US president Donald Trump He has threatened tariffs and sanctions on Columbia to punish the country’s military flights that have refused to accept the deported person earlier, which is part of his comprehensive crackdown on immigration.

However, the White House stated in a statement on Sunday evening that Colombia agreed to accept these immigrants after all, and Washington would not impose threatened punishment.

The statement wrote: “The Colombian government has agreed to all the terms of President Trump, including unlimited or unlimited acceptance of all Columbia illegal foreigners returned from the United States, including illegal foreigners returned to the U.S. military aircraft.”

It added that the draft order for Tariffs and sanctions on Columbia will be “reserved and will not be signed, unless Colombia does not comply with this agreement.”

Colombian Foreign Minister Louis Gilberto Mali said in a statement on Sunday evening: “We have overcome the deadlock with the US government.”

“Colombian government … has prepared a presidential plane to facilitate the return of Columbians who arrived in the country this morning to return to the country.”

The draft measures include a 25%tariff on all Columbia products that enter the United States. This tariff will rise to 50%within a week; the travel ban and visa of Columbia government officials will be revoked; and emergency treasury, banking and financial sanctions.

Trump also said he would also instruct the border inspection of Columbia citizens and goods.

A U.S. State Department spokesman said that the US Embassy in Bogo has suspended visa processing.

Colombia is the third largest trading partner in the United States in Latin America, and the United States is Colombia’s largest trading partner.

Colombian President Gustov Petro condemned military expelction flight earlier, and said that he would never have a raid and send the American wearing handcuffs back to the United States

“We are the opposite of the Nazis,” he wrote on a post on the social media platform X.

However, he also said that Colombia will welcome the deported immigrants to return to China by civil aircraft and provide a presidential plane to help them “return dignifiedly.”

Trump announced that illegal immigrants have been an emergency state and have implemented a comprehensive blow since taking office last Monday. He instructed the US military to assist in maintaining border security, issued a wide range of asylum ban, and took measures to limit the citizenship of children born in the United States.

Mexico also rejected the request to the U.S. military plane carrying immigrants last week.

Trump said he was considering a 25% tariff on imported goods from Canada and Mexico on February 1 to force to take further action against illegal immigrants and fentanyls into the United States.
