How a robot lifts, spins and parks a Ferrari with precision | Real Time Headlines

Get an exclusive look inside one of the world’s largest automated parking systems. CNBC’s Ray Parisi drives a 488 Spider Ferrari through the system to show you how the robot can precisely lift, rotate and park a vehicle while carrying a camera inside.

Hidden inside a 46-story luxury apartment in Miami is a 13-story garage. Busy robots move quickly in the garage, driving cars to and from parking spaces. The futuristic 24/7 operation takes place in a 13-story garage and uses five car lifts, dozens of lasers and hundreds of barcodes embedded in the floor.

When residents park their cars in one of the building’s five car parking spaces, they don’t have to look for a parking space; they simply hand their vehicles over to a robot valet, which will park the car.

It all happens inside Brickell House, which has the world’s largest and tallest automated parking system, according to PARKPLUS, the company that built the apartment. While no one is allowed inside the automated garage, CNBC’s Ray Parisi drove a Ferrari 488 Spider inside and walked through the garage with his camera crew so you can see the robot parking attendant Lift, spin and park this six-figure car with precision.
