apple On Friday, Apple welcomed the debut of the iPhone 16, Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods 4 in stores around the world.

Apple’s latest iPhone marks the company’s latest push into the market AInew Apple Intelligence features will begin rolling out in October. New features will allow customers to rewrite text, delete objects from photos and conduct conversations using improved Siri. These software improvements only apply to iPhone 16 and last year’s iPhone 15 Pro devices.

But Apple shares fell on Monday after an analyst report showed demand for the latest iPhones was lower than expected. Tianfeng Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in a report on Monday that iPhone 15 sales fell about 12% in the first weekend compared with the same period last year. Barclays, JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America also noted that shipping times could lead to lower demand for more expensive iPhone Pro models compared with last year.

The Apple Watch Series 10 has a larger screen than earlier models. Like the earlier Series 9, it will support new sleep apnea detection and other new features. AirPods 4 brings an update with a smaller charging case and noise-canceling features.
