On Friday, she also endorsed Democratic Rep. Colin Allred in his Texas Senate race against incumbent Republican Sen. Ted Cruz.

“Here in Texas, you do have a good, serious candidate running for the United States Senate,” said Liz Cheney, referring to Allred, who served with her in the House.

“You may not agree with every policy position, but we need people who serve sincerely. We need honorable public servants. In this campaign, that’s Colin Allred,” she added.
