Short-seller Hindenburg Research said on Tuesday it held a short position in the server maker super microcomputerciting evidence of “accounting manipulation.”
The company’s shares fell about 5% in early trading.
Super Micro did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Close relationship with chip giants NVIDIA This allowed AMD to quickly launch servers equipped with artificial intelligence chips, making it one of the biggest winners of the generative artificial intelligence boom.
