One spectator at the rally died and another was seriously injured, according to the district attorney in Butler County, where the rally was held. NBC News confirmed the shooter was dead.
While Musk didn’t directly endorse Trump ahead of Saturday’s event, he made clear his opposition President Joe Biden’s Return to the White House. He claimed in a post in March that he would not donate to any presidential candidate.
Musk met Trump earlier this year at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach and said at Tesla’s 2024 annual shareholder meeting that he “had some conversations” with Trump. Musk also said at that event that Trump “did call me out of the blue for no reason.”
on Friday, Bloomberg reports Musk has donated a “significant” but undisclosed amount to a pro-Trump super PAC known as USA PAC.
According to statistics, Musk is the richest person in the world, with an estimated net worth of approximately $250 billion Forbes.
