The Vatican said on Tuesday that Pope Francis, who fought against double pneumonia, remained in critical condition during the fourth day of the game, but was stable and without further respiratory crisis.
The 88-year-old pope spent his 12th night at the Gemelli Hospital in Rome, his longest hospital in the Pope.
