Indonesian prosecutor arrests three Pertamina unit executives on oil imports | Real Time Headlines

Pertamina said in a statement Tuesday that it respects the ongoing legal proceedings in the Attorney General’s office.

Abdul said between 2018 and 2023, the three allegedly violated government regulations against Pertamina to purchase crude oil from domestic suppliers and conspired to justify crude oil and fuel imports. .

He said the oil from contractors operating in Indonesia did not meet its standards.

Prosecutors said crude oil produced by the contractor was exported, while Kilang Pertamina Intertamina Internion and Pertamina Patra Niaga were “significantly higher” Prices “imported crude oil and fuel, and the state lost 193.7 trillion adverse ($12 billion).

Pertamina Patra Niaga is a department responsible for retail and fuel imports of state energy companies. Kilang Pertamina International Process crude oil and condense into refined products.

The Attorney General’s Office said Pertamina International shipping has marked the shipping fee.

The office said three other people from private companies were also arrested in the case.
