The United States is the highest ranking global higher education destination in the GSC ranking.
According to the report, the number of international students remains highly concentrated in countries with English speaking and economic development.
The report says there are 900,000 international students in the United States who helped generate more than $40 billion in revenue in 2023.
Madrid said it is no surprise that the United States is on the list first due to the number of famous universities and the number of higher education institutions there. “When you look at the households you want to invest in and the cost is not an issue, they prefer to look at the US and the UK,” she said.
“But on the other hand, we see American families looking for universities in other countries,” Madrid added. “We see families for different reasons (whether it is) political stability, or what it seems to be transnational and multicultural in Europe,” Madrid added. Possibility of higher education.”

The country was able to change its strategy and attract more students from places like China and India.
She added: “The UK must balance the losses from leaving the EU and attract students from other countries.”

Just like in the United States, studying in the United Kingdom is expensive. International students can expect tuition fees ranging from £10,000 to £38,000 or $47,000 per year.
After graduation, students there also face an average loan debt of about £50,000 or $63,000.
