More than 140,000 people signed up to attend Monday night’s “Harris’s handsome white guyZoom fundraising and organizing rallies that raised more than $3 million for the event included several potential Democrats running mate vice-president Kamala Harris.
The response was 14 times the initial target of 10,000 registrations that organizers had set days earlier for the event, which is now underway Youtube.

Event speakers include U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete ButtigiegNorth Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, all of whom are reportedly being considered as possible running mates for Harris.
These four people are also “white” themselves.
“We are not alone. The rest of the world needs us,” Walz said.
“This is great news,” Walz said.
“How many times in a hundred days can you change the course of the world? How many times in a hundred days can you do something that will affect generations to come?” Waltz asked.
“How many times in the world do you have that asshole wake up to the knowledge that a black woman kicked his ass and sent him on his way, and you know that’s something that guy is going to have to live with for the rest of his life.”
“The atmosphere right now is unbelievable … the momentum is extraordinary,” Buttigieg said.

Cooper announced online during a conference call that he would no longer be considered as Harris’ running mate.
Cooper wrote on Will appear on Nationwide Tickets.
During the call, Cooper lambasted Trump and his allies for portraying Harris as the “DEI candidate,” arguing that what Republicans are really saying is that, by definition, women of color are not qualified to serve as president.
“I know we all love our country and we can express that through our work,” Cooper said.
Pritzker highlighted that Trump was convicted earlier this year of 34 felonies related to hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels, who was convicted of sexually abusing author E. Jean Carroll. Trump is a “born liar.”
“He’s a liar,” Pritzker said.
Harris campaign co-chairman Mitch Landrieu and actors Mark Hamill, Mark Ruffalo, Misha Collins and Josh Gad will also speak at the event.
Harris emerged as the de facto Democratic nominee last week after Biden made a shock decision to drop out of the race.
If elected, Harris would be the first woman and the second person of color to be elected president of the United States. The vice president’s father is black from Jamaica and her mother is from India.
Trump and his running mate, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, are both white.
