President Donald Trump has appointed David Huitema as director of the U.S. Government Office of Ethics, The agency said on Monday.
The independent agency is committed to preventing financial conflicts of interest in the executive branch and he said it is reinstating that acting directors are being restored.
Huitema nominated by former president Joe Biden He was sworn in for five years in mid-December.
According to OGE’s website, the current acting director is Shelley Finlayson.
