Ivanka Trumpdaughter of President Donald Trumpwarned investors not to buy fraudulent cryptocurrencies bearing her name.
“It has come to my attention that a fake cryptocurrency called ‘Ivanka Trump’ or ‘$IVANKA’ is being promoted without my consent or approval,” she wrote in a statement. Post on X Thursday. “To be clear: I have no affiliation with this coin. This counterfeit coin risks defrauding consumers and defrauding them of their hard-earned money.”
Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, played important leadership roles in Trump’s first White House but were not central to the new administration.
Her warning comes after the weekend launch of meme tokens called $TRUMP and $MELANIA for the president and first lady.
$Trump Coin, Almost Immediately enhanced The president, whose book net worth is in the billions, is currently trading at about $37, down 50% from its peak shortly after launch. Likewise, the $MELANIA token has plummeted 80% from its weekend highs and is currently trading at $2.84.
