FBI says New Jersey drones don’t pose national security threat | Real Time Headlines

this FBI and Department of Homeland Security said on Thursday they had “no evidence” of the mystery drone Sightings over New Jersey and nearby areas that have “posed a threat to national security or public safety” in recent weeks.

The agencies also said they had no evidence that the drones had “foreign connections.”

“Based on a review of available imagery, many of the reported sightings are in fact manned aircraft and operating lawfully,” the agencies said in a statement.

“There were no reported or confirmed drone sightings in any restricted airspace,” the agencies said.

The FBI has been investigating reports that there may be dozens of drones operating at night, most of them larger than those used by amateurs.
